Wobbling around on his unicycle,
like he is wearing a blindfold.
Pedal after pedal he pushes on,
over the bumpy circus floor.
Clumsily clambers off,
then moves quickly to his stilts,
and walks around on top of the world.
Now it is time for being traditional,
and using his squirty flower.
The crowd are jolly,
he knows he is doing well.
Now he starts to juggle,
adding ball after ball;like a whirlwind,
he throws the balls up one by one…
and misses every single ball.
He panics and goes straight to his final act, crowd participation.
He starts to shout come on try your arm at dagger throwing,
and they come down in their hundreds.
It is manic!
The clown gets strapped on to the wheel of doom.
Crowd control are trying to get some order but it isn’t working.
They start to throw the daggers and nearly hit the clown!
There was a scream of terror that came from the clown,
then there was total silence.
It had happened the clowns worst nightmare…
his wig had come off!!!
A murmur of relief went round the crowd as the clown got off the wheel wigless and said,
“Thank you and good night.”
