Danita I have been looking at your mandalas over the last few days. Jung as you probably know used them all the time and believed in their power and significance. I have been studying his drawings in his Red Book slowly and pleasantly, something I suggest you look at if you haven’t already. In Memories, Dreams, Reflections …Jung wrote … I knew that in finding the mandala as an expression of the self I had attained what was for me the ultimate….. Your mandalas are beautifully creative, inspiring and healing….Thank you for sharing them!Sx
Hi sophie, yes, i have long admired Jung’s words and works but do not possess his books, catching snippets online, in library books etc…
i was initially drawn to creating mandalas for their healing expression, and have experienced this journeying through my years of drawing them. I look at where i have come from, see the changes, and see how much more there is to do!
I draw them for others to make visible aspects of themselves, to acknowledge and see their beauty and uniqueness.

Danita, i faved yesterday, but am coming back to leave a comment now i have some time, i think this is very very beautiful….it’s a little bit different to the round mandalas, there is a wonderful energising feeling coming from here, and i think it’s glorious :) x

Yes my mandalas are growing outwards into all sorts of shapes while still within the basic geometry of the point within the circle; it is a journey ..
