My Bubblesite

Mandalas and art are my passion!

As a child i loved flicking through art books on Dali, van Gogh and Monet from school and the local library, marvelling at the colours and images! I played with different art mediums in an attempt to be still, calm and focussed, enjoying time to create.

I love exploring art techniques and I regularly draw and paint Mandalas. Some of the mandalas have a freehand approach, others originate from sacred geometry. Some begin from a hastily drawn sketch, others grow and are revealed as I sit and draw. Some take hours, others weeks to complete. They are all unique.

I have been creating mandalas since 1998 and have found this to be a process of awakening, allowing me to look closely at myself. I enjoy reflecting emotions and thoughts within the framework of the mandala, providing a visual snapshot of who I am at the time the mandala was created.

I also offer to draw unique and personal mandalas for others. These are completed through an intuitive, meditative process. The mandala can be used by the recipient to focus and bring energy into a space or a situation. They can be used for open-eye mediatation.

I create Personal Mandalas on commission for individuals, couples, families, businesses, to celebrate events such as birth of a child or a wedding, and as gifts to be given to loved ones, family and friends. Mandalas make wonderful original gifts!

I also share the creative art experience in small workshop groups at the Nile Street Healing Centre clinic. This is located in Glenelg, South Australia.

I have recently added a number of artworks and photographs taken by my son Ben. He is 14 years old. He dreams of sharing his work, so i have asked him to give me his best and put them here.
Ben’s work will have ~ by Ben in the title.
And later he can have his own bubblesite !!
