Wattle Blue Butterfly (Theclinesthes miskini) - Adelaide, Australia by

This tiny butterfly has an average wingspan of 22mm, and is a delight to watch in flight, as it flashes the blue upper surface of its wings. Blue butterflies make up the majority of Australian species and close similarities in appearance and size can make identification very difficult!
