A Giant Australian Cuttlefish cruises over the ocean floor at Stony Point, near Whyalla (South Australia). The animal has a wonderful gift for mimicking the colours of his environment.

Ah, yes, Tumby Bay I hear has some great snorkelling/diving of it’s own- but I’m yet to get in the water there. The cuttlefish swim/dive opps are fantastic. Get in quick before desalination plants and other developments further jeopardise these animals’ habitat

    Very good underwater photography Dan

  • Thanks Stephen! This population is now under immediate threat though… can you please help stop the industrialisation of their breeding ground? Please sign the petition!
