Dappled in the faintest light
Trickling from the street outside
Bodies heavy and slumbered
Contentment drawn with each breath
A beautiful aftermath
Of love and longing
My fingertips dance lightly
Over places clenched in passion
That gentlest curve of hips
A promise of pleasures beyond
The firm curve of his shoulder
Where I nuzzle and purr
To press my body against his length
Moulded flesh
I feel like we have always been like this
In a time before we met
That our spirits were intertwined like this
Long before our skin pressed knowingly
He stirs with the familiarity of my caress
Holding me firm, his breath tickles my cheek
A single kiss on my forehead let’s me know
I am home …. he is home
