I am passionate about love, life and everything that mingles the two. Whether its the simplicity of a vibrant, fresh leaf shooting forth into the world or the smile of a child that runs deep in the eyes, beauty exists in the most complex and the utterly mundane and to capture that beauty is both a privilege and a passion. My portfolio is quite diverse because life is diverse – portraiture, landscape photography, photojournalism …. the expanse of my interests is reflected in the small body of work that I present here and I truely hope you enjoy it.
If you would like to discuss a portrait session or have an upcoming event you would like me to cover, please feel free to contact me on danikaleahyphotography@bigpond.com.
I also have an online portfolio at danikaleahy.carbonmade.com

Fingers intertwined are somehow more whole / Two pieces of a puzzle that are perfectly matched
A battle of the hearts / Two souls intertwined so deeply that the rip runs deep / Love and passion turned to rage so startling / Over something … no nothing … it doesn’t matter now
The blind cuts into my temple and I am thankful / It hides my prison / The source of a foul curtain that hangs all around me / Its putrid thickness closing in and swallowing me
Society brands, files and categorises / They would have me in that box / Shelved neatly / But I object
The firm curve of his shoulder / Where I nuzzle and purr / To press my body against his length / Moulded flesh
My eyes lock on hers / Cornflour stars / In the depths of her universe / I see myself
