My Hero, My Friend, I Loved him
But they tore him apart, Limb by Limb
The Brave action, taken in a war
He fought for our freedom
He fought our rights
The right for us, to have our lives
The brave few, who will risk everything Too
Save so many is a daring feat
But My Friend, he had the courage
To stand up and do what was right
He did what was needed
The silent innocence of a gun, he understood
But he was puzzled, why we fought thier wars
His treatment when he got back was a disgrace
They really dont care
They, say its your fault for getting shot
But i asked them, why? You commanded me to
My Dying friend, Now in pain
He knew, it was the goverment to blame
When he fell at present

He will live on, and live for ever in our memory’s
As the Friend and Husband who risked all
For Risking His Life
