Meyer Lemons are the result of simple cross breeding of the orange and a lemon, the results are a culinary dream come true! The Meyer is the best of both worlds and an excellent ingredient in Mediterranean cuisine.

The Meyer Lemon was brought to the United States from China by Frank Nicholas Meyer (Frank is responsible for introducing 2,500 species of plants in the United States!) who was employed by the U.S. Department of Agriculture in 1908.
