I am an artist and writer. I received a 2010 Hallie Ford Foundation Fellow. I make wall drawings, paintings, comics and sculpture to tell stories that meditate on myth in the American psyche. I self-publish comics including The Naked Boy and The Green Man of Portland. My blog Radio Relay Towers (www.danielduford.blogspot.com) features reviews and essays about art. My work has been shown at MASS MoCA, The Atlanta Center for Contemporary Art, Maryhill Museum, Bellevue Arts Museum, Clay Studio, The Boise Art Museum, Contemporary Craft Gallery, PICA and The Art Gym at Marylhurst University. I teach intermedia and sculpture at Pacific Northwest College of Art.
