Gerard Bahon

I was born in France a long, long time ago and am an American citizen since 1976 .
After a life of work as a cook , Chef and Executive- Chef for some of the finest hotels in USA (Ritz-Carlton , Fairmont , The Pierre …) I retired 5 years ago and being .painting since for my pleasure and the pleasure of loved ones .
I am mostly selftaught with a few art classes at TCU in Fort-Worth .. I enjoy what I do and I hope to bring joy and pleasure thru my paintings to people around me .
I am a member of good standing of the Arlington Visual Arts Association .
I had art shows with the “Wide Spectrum” group of artists at the Art Museum Arlington TX in 2010 and 2011 , with more to come .
I won a " Merit Award " from the AVAA 2008 juried show and a " Best work on Canvas "from the AVAA 2011 Juried Show .
I live in Mansfield Tx with my wife of 40 years .
