I raised 4 pygmy bottle babies when my children were in grade school~ they are so sweet and I still get a yearning for that sweet kid smell every spring :)) Renee
We had one crafty old doe that learnt to (a) know when the electric fence was pulsing or not – so when she could push through, and (b) taught herself to jump and turn sideways through the middle wires – so landing out in the road. We didn’t believe our neighbour until we saw it for ourselves.
But yes, there is nothing quite as cute as goat kids with their smiley mouths and playful mien.
I love goats :) The mothers are so motherly! and the babies are just adorable. They learn really quickly, we had one we had to bottle feed and she used to jump on our trampoline :D

Adorable… untill they learn to jump fences! LOL
Ours never learnt to do that… they went UNDER the fences.
