All of your work on here is absolutely fantastic… but this one really speaks to me. Well… it yells at me and then stares into my soul with it’s funny little eyeball. Fantastic work.

so what made you paint the hand with a finger half missing?, a lot of your work you have told the story behind, but, this one nothing. You should do it in monochrome, what seems like a good idea, normally works out to be one lol I love eye images and this one I like a lot, :)

Ha ha, finger is bent actually as it is holding a match between the thumb and the finger, yes no story here just some surreal fun, old painting this, was doing a lot of other monotone work when I painted this, so just felt like using some colour. I also love eyes in art and this painting just happened freely, very little planned here. Fairly big one compared to my recent ones. I never go back and redo paintings but yes it would look better in black and white.. Thanks for the fav!!

I like everything about this piece. From the color scheme, imagery, brush technique. Very nice.

It almost has a Cubist influence, especially in the way the hand is painted.

yes you definitely have a feel for surrealism. The forefinger looks really awkward though. I recommend drawing hands more. Excellent piece though! Reminds me of the movie Pan’s Labrynth. Wicked movie.
