A Better Time

Just trying to say that there are so many out there that stand around and wish we lived in a better place and that if we each do something we can all find that better place that we all crave and know exsists.

The darkness seeps in, So slowly it is hardly noticed.
Fathers and Sons, Mothers and Daughters, Sisters and Brothers, Neighbors, Stangers.
Engaged in battle over life’s trivials.
So many living on their soul’s reserves, just to make it through the day.
Unable to tend to themselves let alone reach out to those who need it.
I consider myself to be a good man with a good heart.
I have reached out to some and offered what I have to them…...but,
I myself have stood silently in the shadows and have done nothing, said nothing.
Wishing for A Better Time.
Today I will be silent no longer.
I will unleash all that is in my heart and release the spirit pent up too long.
I have choosen my path and will follow it relentlessly, no matter what.
There are two things that I must do now.
I must stay strong enough to live the way I want to. The way I know is right.
I must also reach out to others so that they can find the way back to their own paths.
Some will not hear me.
For those that do, It is not enough to listen and hear.
It is time to take action.
First for yourself and those you hold dear.
Then for the others that have been beaten off their paths.
These paths will cross, And when they do I will meet you there.

You come to a place in your life where enough is enough and you stand up for yourself and what you believe and what you need to do …. It is my belief that THAT is when you become an independent adult! It has no number attached it has no age or education …. just guidance and encouragement and when it happens support!
