The loss of fuzz off the top of his horns shows he is a “he” because this wears off when the males “rut” each other. His very dark spots show that he’s pretty old though, as giraffe spots and fur tends to get darker as they get older. He certainly wasn’t shy though as was very interested in what we were doing!
