SNOWFLAKES ON MY TONGUE

SNOWFLAKES ON MY TONGUE

As I look out my window, I’m amazed at what I see
Snowflakes falling from the sky, just waiting there for me

I run to get my snowsuit on and I search around for boots
Out the door I go running, to see snowflakes on my roof

“Come on down here!”, I do yell, “I want snowflakes on my tongue!”
“I want to gobble you all up, before the day is done!”

This day I did wait for all year long, and in the Summer I wished
That snowflakes would fall down from the sky
It’s something I did miss

I been waiting all year long to feel the coldness on my skin
Snowflakes on my tongue today is what I’ve dreamed I’d win

What I’m wishing for the most, are snowflakes on my tongue
I’ll run around and eat them all, now doesn’t that seem fun?

As I run and play all day, let me set you wise
Snowflakes falling on your tongue is something you can’t buy

I always sit and wait for Winter to finally come around
To see the snow that’s falling, and covering up the ground

Run outside quickly and open your mouth more
Cause snowflakes on your tongue today
Is what you’ve waited for!
