I’m looking out my window all around
as colored leaves fall to the ground

Just didn’t seem to be so near.

Clear as the day, as bright as the sun
Fall is coming! Summer is done!

As the green grass turns to brown
the leaves on the trees come tumbling down
Orange, yellow, brown and red
“Fall is coming! someone said

Watching the breeze blow through the trees
and hearing the whistling sound
I now know the Fall is coming
