Abstract mixed media collage using my painted torn and cut pieces, including some in the shapes of puzzle pieces. Mixed media includes Winsor & Newton transparent watercolor, Pelikan ink, and Liquitex acrylic. Paper is Arches 140 lb cold press, full sheet – 30×22.

I am fascinated by the concept of serendipity – the spontaneous discovery of one thing while searching for another. I rarely plan my art. I prefer to LET it happen rather than MAKE it happen.

So much to look at Dana. The puzzle pieces almost look like butterflies flitting about the piece; the bright orange ones like flowers : ) I always love your collage work!
