Abstract mixed aquamedia painting including gold leaf, on Arches 140 lb cold pressed paper. Original is 30×22. Paint used was Winsor & Newton transparent watercolor, Pelikan ink, Liquitex iridescent acrylic, and Winsor & Newton gouache. This painting is from my “Interactions” series, using a drip and run technique. Title was inspired by the soft classical music playing as I painted.

Featured in Works On Paper group, December 2011.

About Dana Roper

I am fascinated by the concept of serendipity – the spontaneous discovery of one thing while searching for another. I rarely plan my art. I prefer to LET it happen rather than MAKE it happen.
