Thanks Emily!!! How nice of you – the gemstone series was a fun one. It had over 100 paintings in it, but unfortunately I only have photos of a few of them. Someday I will go back to that technique and see what happens.

it really does have a gemstone quality. lovely watercolor fluidity along with the great lines. this is just very enjoyable to look at. there is a wonderful sense of volume and depth and transparency that reminds me of jello
