It came Out of the Blue - Thanks for the Feature!

Posted over 3 years ago

My photo, Icy Blue, was just featured in the Out of the Blue group. This came as such a big surprise…that shot had to be pretty buried in the group pages so it was really exciting to see it recognized!

Okay, before I had the honor of having Fairies featured this week, I was already a big fan of the new Flowers in Macro group! This is the PERFECT group for me and I am so enjoying surfing around there. It’s so much fun to find like-minded people who love to explore the natural detail, color, and beauty of a simple flower!

Thanks so much for the feature!

Blue Tulip on the Home Page and a quiet little thank you...

Posted about 4 years ago

I was again so excited to find my photo, Blue Tulip, on the home page recently. It is an honor to have something I have created be shared with so many. I love the simplicity of that shot. It started out as a pink tulip against a makeshift background (a navy blue towel). The original photo is very pretty, and when I tinkered with it a bit in my new photo editing program, I was pleasantly surprised…

Follow the Yellow Brick Road

I am finding that, as I float around the bubble and critically look around me right where I am, I am on a fascinating journey that is changing my experience of the world. I am on a search for beauty. I feel like there is a part of my brain that is waking up, that has been sleeping for a long time. I’ve always made an effort to find something to appreciate in each day…now my experience…

Woo hoo! The Home Page!!

Posted over 4 years ago

Okay, so this afternoon I opened up redbubble and my first thought was, boy that’s pretty…then the shock smacked me in the face and I shouted “whoa!” and called my husband. (Poor guy, he came flying down the steps thinking someone was hurt.) There was my Petal Waves shining on the home page. I am soooo excited to have my photo there, and feel very honored to know that peop…

Here we go...

So this is my first entry…I am really enjoying this whole new redbubble world! I am so very new to photography – well, to taking photos to share. I have always been so visual that I can be drawn into a beautiful image effortlessly. That’s probably one of the reasons I married a very talented artist (he’s on here too…MOC2). Wanting to see if I could create some beaut…
