Today while walking to work I saw a girl intently studying the final pages of a Stephanie Meyer novel. I had to resist the strong urge to slap the book out of her hands.
Not out of cruelty, or as some physical criticism of the quality of the literature. Merely to sate my inner mischievous child. The one who lives in my belly.
His name is also Damien.

oh good! so it’s not just me! I often have to wiggle my fingers to remind myself that I am still in control of my hand, and it will not be allowed to do the things my inner child is telling it to do..
I’ve discussed with a friend before how every time we ring a doorbell we have to resist the urge to run away. I also can’t help but pretend to be asleep if I’m in a room by myself and someone else walks in.

If I’m in a room with someone and they leave I always change seats before they return, or place an inanimate object in the spot they were sitting, preferably a stuffed toy if there’s one on hand :-)
If you have the time it’s even better to just take the chair and hide it somewhere else entirely so they come back to an empty space

Maaan, reading this makes me feel like an even more boring guys. I never really feel like doing ANYTHING like that. I’m always just like “oh.. whatever”.. Maybe you should teach me to unleash my inner mischievous brat :D
My inner child likes to put sticky tape on cats feet.
My inner child still likes candles and still finds it amusing i chopped off the cats whiskers when I was obsessed with scissors:P
My inner child and outer child are one and the same. Right now they both want to burn just about anything related to vampires.
My inner child still wants to open a car door onto a passing cyclist – very very sad since many of my family and lots and lots of my friends ride!!
