Secrets from the bus stop

Sometimes I mutter aloud
words better left in the silence of my thoughts.

(Nothing too strange, that is.
No global conspiracies
or messages from the heavens)

Just small, mundane things
“Oh, I forgot my sunglasses”
or “Yeah, I’ll buy my lunch today”

Still, I worry that one day I will become
That Guy.

I think there’s a little bit of “That Guy” in all of us :-)

    oh dear, ‘That Guy’…
we all hope never to become personified between initial capitals.
