Never Forget That They Were Ninja by

The turtles of the 80s seemed to spend a lot of time going to space, meeting robots, surfing on giant turtles, and of course trying to solve the problems of the world non-violently.

Which doesn’t really make sense.

I am a web designer, flash developer and illustrator. I live in sunny Adelaide with my lovely wife Cheryl and out little kids Oscar and Lily and hope one day to own turtles. I have a special part of my heart reserved for brightly coloured vector art. And monkeys.

Hehehehe…. excellent point! (they weren’t really into stealth, either… differentiated character-specific bright ribbons and masks don’t really help you sneak up on enemies)

  • They never did much sneaking at all in the 80s cartoons and comics. There’s a great movie made recently where the 80s turtles meet the 00s turtles.. and then they all meet the original turtles who are monochrome :) It really highlights to differences in style and character across the board.
