I am a web designer, flash developer and illustrator. I live in Bendigo with my lovely wife Cheryl and out little kids Oscar and Lily and hope one day to own turtles. I have a special part of my heart reserved for brightly coloured vector art. And monkeys.

I’m a freelance web developer. I tend to do my vector work in Adobe Flash and Illustrator, and digital painting in Corel Painter and Adobe Photoshop. I’ve got a Wacom tablet which brings me joy.

Almost all my work starts off as a sketch, or several, in my trusty Moleskine notebook, which I then refine and develop further. I’m always keen to experiment with new styles and media.

I also post the occasional process journal, so if you’re interested in that you can read them here:

Call Girl

I’ve been training for over a decade in Hokushin Shinoh Ryu Iaido, and currently run a Dojo Zen Shin Kan in Bendigo. I am a Buddhist, and the training complements that very well.

If you’ve got any questions, or want to know more, drop me a line.

I’ve been playing with watercolours for quite some time now. I’ve learned a lot, which I hope comparing my first one to my most recent one will attest. / I’m still enjoying that, but I’d like to try something new. The next thing I’d like to look at is ink.. specifically ink washes and the like. / Anyone have any advice for what brands or types of ink I should look at…
