Jay and I embarked on an epic tour or the South Island of New Zealand over 12 days. We had spoken about it since we were there last winter for the snow how good it would be to head there for a ‘pure photography’ trip and this year we made it happen.
We clocked up 5100km’s and chased the weather all over the South Island. Any longer than 4 hours sleep per night was a bonus.
This image was shot up at Golden Bay of the archway islands. The night before Jay and I wondered aimlessly around a field trying to find how to access this bloody beach. We missed an amazing moon setting, but were lucky to capture this beautiful sunrise to somewhat ease the pain.
