Falling through and away (Poem)

Through the depths of the mind
Fall deep within and see
What is there?

Increasing vibrations.
Use them to fall away.
Fall through and keep falling.
The world can’t hold you now.
Look up and out
See the ripples form far above.

Falling. Falling through it all.

Beyond pain.
Beyond loneliness.
Compare and see.
Why stay?
Why would you stay at all?

Keep going.
One day hopefully you won’t come back.
Travel far. Travel deep.
Search for what’s missing.
Find what is never there to be found.
Tantilisingly close, but never caught.
Half thought but never complete.

Seek the unseen.
Search hard and strong.
Idealism can be rewarded in unreality.
Concepts stripped back raw.
No explanation or argument necessary.
The pieces fit intuitively.

[clearly in an odd mood tonight…]

Constructive criticism welcome.

I’m not a writer myself but this piece you wrote looks deep into the soul and mind. I had a reading done recently and some of what you wrote made me feel things I felt back then.
All the best and keep sharing.

Thanks Pete, glad to take you back to something as interesting as that! I hope it was a good one for you!
This poem just had to come out, and not even a full moon.

hi Damien – nicely said… you really believe that the unseen is unattainable or not bale to be found? I don’t…and that’s what keeps me interested in the process of life..that somehow my optimism coupled with intuition and my adverturous spirit just keep leading me to unfolding newness and horizons.
If I can’t see a horizon I imagine and believe in it – if I can’t imagine or believe in a horizon…there’s nothing ahead…that’s what I call doom. Heavy – sorry…..just the way i am right now (a bit).

…Just to clarify what i wrote above….i don’t feel a sense of doom ahead or in my present (although certain death is necessary to facilitate re-birth and rejuvenation of the mind body and soul).
If there is no ‘horizon’ (for me) out there, then I would rather not be alive as this would be like death for me.
The possibilties of the future and the unknown are what keep me fascinated about life…living…loving..and keep me interested in turning the next ‘corner’ or ten in life!!

LOL thanks shaytay! I’ve heard that once or twice before, but don’t spend all my time there. There’s a good streak of silly to even things out :)

Hi Suzanne, thanks for your thoughts, I see things the same as you :)

I think some (most?) people view the unseen as unattainable, but I don’t. This started as a protest after being told I can’t live in my imagination (the view’s great from there!), but then the focus shifted in the writing.

No problems spending time in the imagination, balanced with reality it is what seperates the creative “Elf” from the so called “norm”. Your writing is great, honest and by being true to you all else in life will follow….
Dreams do come true, aim yourself truly…baby steps……..there is always light…….
Keep up the good work….Cheers Kym
