Stardust, what a delightful movie

I’ve been given ‘Stardust’ as a gift, and watched it tonight for the first time since seeing it in the cinema.

It’s a movie adaption of one of my favourite books, and it really is a lovely and sweet fairytale. Although the book is more so ;)

I love the work of Neil Gaiman. What a delightful mind.

While I still like the book more, and cringed at times with some of the strange turns added into the movie, it’s still great. I wasn’t sure what I thought the first time I saw it at the cinema, but it stuck with me for days, so I assumed that meant I loved it, and was just coping with how it was changed from the book.

Claire Danes is such a sweety, and gorgeous when she’s glowing.

So I love a bit of romantic fantasy :)

I’ve neither read it nor seen it. Will have to now…has Michele Pfieffer in it! =)

It’s definately not dark or deep, but sometimes you don’t need it to be :)
LOL, Michele Pfieffer is great as a wicked witch!

Cool Stacy, the book is great! I liked how the book was a journey through fairyland, rather than a generic fantasy world as they made it in the movie.

LOL Kate! Stardust is a lighter movie, and fun. May be over sweetened for some?
I’ve gone through the special features tonight. Some chats with Neil on the set of the movie were cool.

Cool, glad you liked it too jaycee. I don’t know The last Mimzy, I’ll have to look it up. And I liked The lion the witch and the wardrobe (Tilda as the witch helped, LOL!)

Wow! I’ve always imagined Tilda would be a facinating person to hang out with. Any cool tidbits from your friend?

She has never said a lot but she did say she is really friendly. :) If you want to see who I mean by her body double just check out the movie “In my fathers Den” She plays the part of the mother, she does not speak but she is amazing in it… you see her in the lake.
