I’d taken some picks of just the ripples, then the thought of this photo occured to me, so I tried to walk a line against the ripples and photograph it so they went from corner to corner. Maybe too much thought for a simple shot LOL!

I love how the footprints intrude on the perfection of nature (The colour and texture of the sand, and the natural pattern of ripples). The composition is perfect for the shot, the slight imperfection in the footprints, the knowledge that soon nature will obliterate it all once more… lovely image
