The Brass Bug
This clockwork bug is on a mission. Although a little wayward, it can survive on the chemical energy in the blood of living creatures, so it does not need to be recharged frequently.
Made of copper and brass, and the size of an average dog, it is not the strongest mechanical animal of the artificer, but it is suited to its role.
When I finish its story, I’ll also add another layer of detail into the bug, and probably a cooler background, LOL!

Haha, I should’ve been writing the story, but felt like playing with the image I’m been visualising for ages now! So now I’ve got that out of my system I can write!

Hey Kym, thanks, glad you like it! Haha, I think it looks nice and friendly too! So I took a background pic that was bright and sunny for it as well, rather than a shadowy corner. It might look friendly, but it’s actually pretty dangerous (particularly if there’s a few of them!)

It does look a bit like that, doesn’t it! It’s actually modeled pretty closely on some real insects, a mix of one called an assassin bug, and the humble aphid :)
