wow… that’s awesome,it looks just like one of those birds is colliding into the windscreen of the sun… :-) how did you create it and how come it has a crease or something running down from the top of it? Is that an intentional flaw? (no offence intended – I like it!)
Dalton Sayre replied
I used PaintShop pro X to do the art. The birds started as thick black “check-marks”, then I zoomed in with a smudge brush and smeared them into birds. The demarcation down the center is my tribute to a photo my father took about ten years ago. It was a distortion caused by a rebounded reflection of a sunbeam between the lenses. I liked the broken aura effect, and never forgot the image.

this is quite opposite from your tribal work. This has a souft touch that made me stop to see more of your work. Love both, softness and tribal. I too would like to know how you created this, is it done on pc?
Dalton Sayre replied
Yes, and thank you. It was created on my pc, a little more detail in the above posted reply. I am very pleased that it caught your eye.

thanks for taking the time to provide a wonderful explanation about the composition of your artwork Dalton, it makes the end result all the more fascinating! I now understand what you mean by the broken aura effect, fascinating work! thanks for sharing it. :-)

Thank you so much!

Gripping colours they really draw you in, lovely
Dalton Sayre replied
Thank you. I hope I can do something to rival it. For the most part, my art is worthless if it is done in anything but pencil. This one is one of my favorites.

simply beautiful! It really does look like a bird is colliding with a beautiful force of energy!
Dalton Sayre replied
Indeed. Thank you.
