Oh how clever Craig, looks like an Alley Cat :) Excellent work!
Thanks Kathie… had a little fun trying to put it all together… Made it as a Birthday pressie for a friend of our who does a lot of artwork with recycled materials too!
Love it Craig, Nothing like working with recycled materials. Totally cool Bro.
You’re right about that… I have made a number of pieces along this line and have also built extensions to our previous house, built a timber kitchen, made furniture, laid bricks and recycled timber floors amongst many other things… presents some challenges but the end result often stands out in the crowd! Currently undertaking a few projects around or new (old) house with mostly recycled material and there’s more to come!
Thanks for the compliment… Has been a little plan of mine to make some sculptural work in this style for some time now… gave this as a 50th birthday pressie to an artist/sculptor friend of ours and a friend of hers wants me to build something soon… don’t know what though!!! LOL
Very creative Craig……looks fantastic, you should do more!
I have made a few for our back yard… a dog made from an old lawn mower catcher… we call it “Dogcatcher”… and a rabbit made from an old exhaust muffler off a tracter… called “Mixi”. Have a lot of ideas for similar work and a few interested in me making some specific items for them!
Thanks for the encouragement Glenn!!! (-:
