how many times do you give your trust
to be all but burnt ?
how many times have you given respect
without the onus earnt?
how many times do you hold the door open
for it to be slammed in your face?
how many times have you tried so hard
to come in, in second place ?
how many times do you forgive and forget
for it to happen again ?
how many times has paranoia vs lies
driven you insane?
how many times have you felt 2 inches tall
from anothers nasty words?
how many times is greed , lies , and leaching parasites
all you ever heard?
how do you know when enough is enough,
when you have been trodden on to no end,
when your lying in a defeated heap and
still they will lay the boots in
when you down in that deep dark place
the vampires will surely find you
when you think you have taken all you can
they will suck their due
the saddest part in my tale
as grief stricken and desprete is may seem
that those greedy vampires
are the family and friends that are closest
are they say that you are the to redeem
