I’m bringing out the BIG GUNS.
This painting is an Acrylic on Canvas 36×48.
I finished painting it in 1994; I call it my testimony painting. It shows the moment of my salvation; that instant when God reached down and snatched Satan off of me and changed my eternal destiny.
Look down to where the dragon is reaching and you will see me hanging backwards off the edge of the cliff. I had reached this point in the drug world where overdosing was becoming a regular event. I lived with a “death wish” and had begun to take it up to the next levels. My God is an Awesome God and he rescued me!
On the scale of my paintings, or any other art forms, this piece remains the single longest work of my career. I worked on it off and on over a 7 year period. *Please look at the detail shot to see where all those years of work are found.
