a Distant Reflection
The light was so beautiful in the narrows today. Wading up river was well worth it once I hit this spot in the hike. I looked back to see the light playing a wonderful trick against the red wall, illuminating the entire passage beyond where I was standing.
The narrows actually supports an abundance of plant life. The sandstone actually ‘absorbs’ water over the years and the many walls are dripping with water. If you look throughout the picture you can find many plants poking their way out of random spots along the rock.

Fantastic image, an abstract from nature with great imagery. I saw a skeletal
face in the middle of the large rock and love the light and reflection.
Welcome to redbubble.
