Little Dreamer
Model – Meluxine
These are some outtake/alternates from the same shoot as Apple Blossom Girl – I actually took LOTS of shots from that set and am having strife picking the final shots to use, and since I treat RB as an alt/outtake spot as well as a preview/never before seen/standard portfolio, I figured what the hell ;)
This particular pair were shot on my late Grandfather’s Ensign Selfix 820 on god knows what film, Fuji NPS 160 I thiiiiink… or possibly Portra 400NC. I had no idea what to expect, having never put film through the damn thing before, so the fact they worked and looked delightfully dreamy was very cool. These are scanned from the 120 neg, straight off the camera – no editing aside from putting them next to each other and whacking my watermark on them. Woohoo.

incredible, especially the part about your grandfather’s Ensign Selfix 820. so love the one on the left because her eyes are closed, then i so love the one on the right because of that special green cast on top of her head and over her body.
awwww the special little wonders of film.
such beautiful, strong images as always harmony! ;-) xox

Both are great, I’d say the left one suits the title. Summer Love comes to mind when I look at the right one. I wonder if she is thinking about headlights.

I think she was thinking I shouldn’t have had that Whopper Meal before we started shooting… at least that’s what she told me afterwards.
