Sioux Falls, S.D. (USA) – Calvary Cathedral was built in downtown Sioux Falls and consecrated in 1889. The church was built out of Sioux quartzite, like many of the city’s other historic and early buildings. Originally named the Church of St. Augusta, the church quickly became known as Calvary Cathedral. The cathedral is a repository for Christian art and artifacts, including three historic crosses.
