    Excellent composition. I like that you were able to capture both the flying ducks and the ones swimming along the creek.

  • lol – Pure chance. I couldn’t get close enough to the ducks without spooking some of them. My new 30x zoom lens will eliminate that problem. ;)

    Would love to purchase a zoom lens. The antelope here won’t let me get too close. lol

  • The antelope up here are just as skittish. Maybe its because I was carrying a rifle and shooting at them. ;)

    lol Didn’t realize you had antelope there too. I guess that would make sense. I miss the white tail deer. Here there are mule deer with huge ears.

  • Western South Dakota is thick with antelope, but you won’t find them where I live down in southeastern South Dakota. We’ve also got our share of both white tail and mule deer in South Dakota. The white tail is really common near Sioux Falls. In fact, its not unusual to see them right in city limits and we’re a city of 150,000 plus.
