Wish Flower

I watch her through the window
Lost in a sea of greens and yellows
A pixie in constant motion

Singular in her mission
Stopping only long enough
To select her treasures

Tufts of windblown blonde
Cheeks flush with color
Greet me at the door

Eyes sparkle with pride
A bouquet of white fluffy wonder
Softly placed in my hand

“They’re wish flowers” she says
“Just blow and you can have anything you wish”
Hugging her close, I know I already do
