The dance is done
No more waltzing
Twirling
Dipping
That precious falling feeling
And yet being held safely
We’ve parted ways
A lovely time had
The memories to keep
To never fade
Of a time that was beautiful
Emotional
Soulful
So real to me
Still in my thoughts
Though others forget
I remember it clearly
