Pen & Ink drawing (card sized).
Something a little different this week instead of a painting. I do a pen and ink drawing every year like this and then rant about what it means in a big long essay. You people qualify as my very first art show, and I plan on uploading a painting every week for the rest of this year. By that time the good paintings will be wearing thin, but I can keep you all entertained with drawings for years to come. These pen & ink drawings began as Christmas cards in more religious Christian days, and now have evolved into an expression of my personal gnosis each year. The essay for this drawing can be read at:

It’s a small book this year with 7 chapters expressing anger that began when an oil gusher in the Gulf of Mexico suddenly began influencing my art. This is my yearly drawing, and a spell I now cast on the world. So mote it be.

great line work Davol
Thanks. I make myself break out the ink pens and do a fine art black ink drawing at least once a year. Otherwise I enjoy the modern art technology of black ball point pens. A most underestimated tool for the artist. Kind of a pencil that uses ink, which you can’t erase if you’re into erasing.
