Todd Helton, The Colorado Rockies’ starting first baseman, is a 5-time All-Star, 4-time Silver Slugger, 4-time National League Player of the Month and 3-time Gold Glove winner. As of June 30, 2008, Helton has the third-highest career batting average of all active players at .328.
Much loved by his fans here in Colorado, Helton has been playing since 1997 with the Rockies and is one of their most valuable players on and off the field.
