Villarrica is one of many active Volcanos in Chile. Nevertheless, there are a lot of little towns in the surroundings of it :( And even two little cities, Pucon and Villarrica. Hope never happens anything.
Very close to the volcano there is the Lake Villarrica, another nature wonder, extremely beautiful.

Dear Kelly thank you very much. If you come to visit us on winter you will see lots of real snow… :) (South Germany near Alpen Mountains). (the vulcano is in south america though) :))

No, volcano villarrica is about 700 km from Santiago / 800 km from Portillo, in the south of Chile, Lakes District. “Region de Los Lagos”. Thank you so much for your comment Patty! :))
