I picked out these roses for my father to give my mother for Valentine’s Day. They’re such a deep red color and the petals are velvety…almost black.

I love those type of roses.

I used a really low white balance when I shot this to give it a more bluish tone.

Gorgeous macro of this beautiful rose! I love the almost-black ones, too. I looked for some to plant, but could never find quite the right color.
