The Southern Pacific Railroad runs through the center of downtown Tucson, Arizona. This graffiti is on the back of an old warehouse, along the railway tracks. A downtown teen hangout named ‘Skrappys’ was in the front of this building. Photo taken with my Canon Digital ELPH point and shoot camera.
In 2013 I’ve looked at some of my photos of graffiti art and taken them into Photoshop to load them onto tees and cases. During that process I’ve come to admire these artists even more. With spray paint, rough found wall surfaces and outdoor working conditions many have achieved really quite stunning art. To add to their perseverance most don’t know how long their work will even last. This fun example has now been long painted over and who knows this maybe the last place it’s being shown. INCREDIBLE!!!
