This 1899 historic steam locomotive was ‘retired’ in 1955 and resides at the recently restored Tucson Historic Depot as part of the Southern Arizona Transportation Museum.

There’s also been some experimenting going on with erasing and color adjustment.

Picture taken with my Canon Digital ELPH camera.

I am happy and re-wired (since I retired) and carry my digital point and shoot camera on most adventures as I head out my door to engage the world. I lived in Tucson, Arizona and now live on the beach in Thailand since 2012.
This Red Bubble site is for showing some of the photos that I find interesting or fit a particular group inspired agenda. That’s how I’m learning to ‘have a better eye’ since joining RB in 2009.

    What a great treatment.

  • Thank you so much… it took me a lot of erasing to get everything else out of the picture.

I know how tedious that is, you did a great job. I usually give up and move one to something else after an hour or so.

  • Well, there must be a touch of insanity… or at least a patience… maybe like knitting. I can erase for a long time. My current secret is to increase image size to ‘huge’ and then erase.

Nice work D, I understand what you mean about erasing… I really hate always having to blow all that residue off the photo. LOL

  • My approach or attitude is a little different… I treat it like taking out the trash (which I like to do) and concentrate on the ‘less’ that’s left. Since I’ve been using this practice in my life, less stuff, less meaningless activities, erasing ends up supporting this over-all. Thanks for your compliment.
