Last night (26/6/2010) we experienced a partial lunar eclipse, and here it is from start (on the right) to peak (on the left).

    Cool I took some too David it was enjoyable and fascinating to watch I have not looked as yet at my images but will shortly. I had a bit more cloud but it did break

  • The breaks in the clouds were quite fortuitous for me Kym. There’s something about astronomical events that seem to attract clouds in Australia!

    Seems to always happen I remember getting up at 3.00am to see a meteor shower event arrived at Mt Cootha only to find 3000 other people and heavy clouds. When Mcnaughts comet was about a couple o years ago I was at the farm spectacular view of the comet and tail and no camera……..LOL

  • McNaughts had me out for a couple of nights running and only got one decent view of it (mind you, that photo is hanging on the wall above my desk).
