Wish List
Taking a leaf out of Shaun’s book here’s my current wish list:
- Canon EF 35mm f/1.4L USM
- Canon EF 500mm f/4L IS USM
- Canon EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6L IS USM
- 3x Canon 580ex II Speedlights
- Canon EF 2x Teleconverter
So, if anyone has these lying around gathering dust, I can make good use of them :)

Good heavens. Your wish list has rather expanded.
I never thought I’d see you express interest in a super-tele.
35/1.4 might give you the best bang for buck at the moment, although if you get into hard-core birding, the 500/4 is your friend.

Well, the 100-400 has whet my appetite. Besides, more focal length means I can shoot smaller birds ;-)
And it’s a wish list, therefore by definition, not something I can afford right now.

Nah, the really expensive list would contain both a 1Ds and 1D, 600/4, 800/5.6, 200/2 and a bevy of TS-E lenses.
