~ you must not blame me if I do talk to the clouds ~ by

a quote by Henry David Thoreau

sigma 10-20mm lens

I love the distortion you get when this lens is opened right out, especially on a lovely cloudy day.

When asking the family for name suggestions for this image, the best I got was from the teen…“the picture with the tree in it”…oh please…

great shot Adriana …. all those sweeping curves in the sky… lovely…. and you know I don’t even mind the name the teenager came up with for it…..:)

  • thanks Juilee – even though that would be encouraging his silly titles…I won’t mention this comment of yours… ;p

I am sooo glad I am a patient man. Finally, she puts down the Lensbaby and picks up the Sigma! Now I am not sure which I like the best – the image or its description. Both put a smile on the dial but only one cracked me up! I can guess which son :)

  • Ha ha ha! Indeed – what a smartypants he is…grrr… (Should I admit that I took this photo a few weeks ago? And then when I showed said son this afternoon before uploading, his comment was “my god, mum, are you still on this photo???”…) More with the sigma is planned, I’m now on the look out for cloudy days, so I can find more corny quotes to name my corny images… ;p Still struggling to tear myself away from the lensbaby… ;)
