~ rejuvenation flow ~
The first image for 2009. This year I’ll think outside the square more often, leave my comfort zone behind and continue on my creative journey. I was daydreaming about this image – my Christmas dress and the pool – before taking it…how would the soft sheer fabric flow along the ripples of the cool blue water, and the only way to know is it immerse yourself and try it. When a family member asked what on earth I was doing, I replied “Being silly” without any hesitation. And that’s another thing I’ll do a lot more of this year – be silly – and not worry about stuff. And isn’t that a refreshing way to start the year.

No, no, I couldn’t possibly – anyway, the dress is broken now – I’ve torn it…being way too silly i guess. And yes the water is just perfect at the moment. ; )

I love this ~ you had me at the thumbnail :) the delicious lines and designs and white blue of the water is one of my fav sights ~ the print, texture and flow of your fabric ~ just adds so much.
And then there is your story of lifting the lid and exploring ~ which I so relate to ~ and I loved it!!
Being “silly” is a label for really what we all have inside us and that is childlike wonder and wish to explore and know more ~ so hats off to you & many wishes for many wet dresses this coming year! xxx
